Historia
Uncle Adnan’s sighs carry within them years of pain and suffering. His tragedy began when his father was martyred in an airstrike, followed by the arrest of his brother in Sednaya prison, where he disappeared without a trace. The family was displaced for 11 years, enduring the complete destruction of their home and a life without stability.
Nine years ago, Uncle Adnan himself was arrested in a brutal manner he recalls with heartbreak. He described his early days in detention, where he was suspended by his hands for eight consecutive days in the most unbearable position, enduring torment until the dawn of liberation. Upon his release, he found a life that had changed completely around him.
Uncle Adnan needs support to rebuild the life that was forcibly taken from him and to reclaim the dreams buried in the darkness of the prisons. Let us stand by him in this new beginning.
