In tough conditions, old house that leaks water and shivering freezing breeze are what Leyla, her husband and their 3 kids face. Her husband works in a boots workshop with a trivial and unstable wage that it barely pays the rent. Leyla started a job in a clothes-cleaning workshop. However, their wages combined aren't enough for their daily-life needs. Their struggle didn't even start yet! they survived the earthquake which took place on 6th of February, 2023 in southern Türkiye in Hatay province. Her daughter Fatima stayed under the rubble for 5 hours before she was rescued. They moved to Istanbul looking for a safe place, but life wasn't so nice to them. Her son Abdullah didn't attend school owing to some restrictions as they are considered foreigners, and Fatima wasn't going to pay her college fees without her teacher's help. As the thrive to make up for what they've lost, we can give them a hand and help them to go back to the old good days where they was happy, healthy and safe.
