Historia
When they stormed Du'a's house, her heart was filled with fear for her infant child and her younger sister, whom the security forces left alone in a desolate house without food, warmth, or a mother to protect them. Her only 'crime' was being the wife and sister of two men who dreamed of freedom. She had no part in anything, but she paid the highest price. Years of torture and deprivation in a dark cell where no light entered, while outside, her child grew up away from her embrace. When she was released after eight years, she found neither a husband nor a brother, as they had been coldly executed. She also found no home or shelter, except for her father who came searching for her. Today, she lives without a home, without a means of subsistence, without security. We can unite to give her a new beginning and the life she deserves after years of oppression, so be the family she lost.
