Historia
Hayel went out, driven by hunger and desperation, searching for firewood to warm his children. With debts piling up and no other way to survive, he did what he could – until tragedy struck.
An explosion ripped through his world. He woke up in the hospital, only to find that both his legs were gone.
With a heavy heart, he says:
"I was my family's only provider, even supporting my elderly parents… but the pain of poverty and helplessness is far worse than the pain of amputation. Ramadan is here, Eid is near, and I am bedridden, with no way to earn, no way to feed my children."
Hayel lost his legs, but we won't let him lose hope.
