Since the age of two, Tala has suffered from a complete growth halt due to a severe deficiency in pituitary gland hormones. This hormonal disorder has directly affected her height and weight, causing her ongoing pain. She also developed painful bone growths in several areas of her body and underwent surgery, but it wasn’t effective. Her only treatment now is growth hormone injections, but she had to stop them because her family can't afford the high cost. Tala still dreams of living like other children.
