Khaled was a refugee in Lebanon, carrying the responsibility of his family after his father's death. A car accident severely injured his left leg, and because he couldn’t afford treatment, he had to return to Syria. There, in a refugee camp, things got worse—untreated infection led to gangrene silently eating away at his leg. Now, Khaled is at risk of losing his leg.
