Rajaa suffers from a spinal disc injury and is in urgent need of an MRI scan to continue her treatment. Despite her excruciating pain, she is forced each day to carry and care for her two daughters—both of whom have severe physical and mental disabilities—worsening her already fragile condition. But her struggle doesn’t end there. Rajaa also shelters her widowed daughter and two young grandchildren, who lost their father in a previous airstrike. The entire family lives in a modest home in the village of Mulham, surviving solely on the sponsorships received for the two orphaned children. Her husband is unable to work due to his own health issues. Supporting Rajaa means easing the pain of a mother burdened beyond her strength, one who carries the weight of those she loves—yet now needs someone to carry a part of it with her.
