In a small house filled with dampness lives a family worn down by war. Hassan, a young man recently released from detention with a body burdened by suffering, works hard to support his mother and two sisters—one of whom is a child with cerebral palsy requiring special care. His mother helps ease the family’s burden by doing sewing work from home to support him. The house is barely livable and lacks furniture.
