Ahmad, a young man displaced by the war from Kafranbel, lives in a small caravan with his wife, two children, his parents, and his brother. Two years ago, he was diagnosed with hepatitis and has needed ongoing treatment ever since to keep his condition from getting worse. When the war broke out, Ahmad had to leave his studies and work as a day laborer to support his family. He never gave up on his dream and went back to university, hoping it would help him get a better job to support his family. Yet the challenges keep piling up: caring for his family, continuing his education, and affording the medicine that’s now out of reach. Today, we can stand by Ahmad—so he can continue the journey he started and secure a better future for his loved ones.
