Historia
Throat cancer has stolen Abd al-Ilah’s voice, depriving him of the simplest way to communicate with his family. His condition now requires a laryngeal speech device, which would allow him to speak again and reclaim a part of the life that illness took away.
The family lives in extreme hardship, in a modest home with minimal furniture and no stable source of income, as the father can no longer work. The burden of providing has fallen on their sixteen-year-old son, who was forced to take a job in a clothing workshop after the family’s aid was cut off.
Despite the weight of their suffering, hope remains alive—that Abd al-Ilah will once again find his voice and speak to his loved ones.
