Historia
Illness and hardship have worn Uncle Omar down. He was displaced with his family from Masaken Hanano in 2013, seeking safety, and eventually settled temporarily in Gaziantep, where he worked in cleaning to provide for his loved ones. Years of exposure to harsh cleaning chemicals led to a devastating diagnosis in 2018—laryngeal cancer—which left him unable to work. His wife, who suffers from thalassemia, endures exhausting and frequent treatments but strives to stay strong for their two young school-aged daughters. The family currently lives in a modest home provided by kind people, but it was recently sold, and they now face eviction with nowhere to go. Despite everything, Uncle Omar continues to hold on to hope and face life with quiet strength. Your support can give this family stability, dignity, and the chance to breathe easier once again.
