Uncle Mohammed returned after a long journey of displacement, hoping to find safety in his home. Instead, he was met with ruins that erased the warmth of years gone by. All that remains is a crumbling wall and a plastic sheet he shares with his ill wife, sheltering them in a home stripped of even the most basic necessities. He struggles with illness and exhaustion while caring for his wife, who suffers from a fracture that has left her unable to move. Despite everything they have endured, he still holds on to hope. He has a small source of income that could help him secure food and medicine, but he is unable to make use of it due to the lack of basic means. Today, Uncle Mohammed needs a helping hand to repair part of his home and regain the ability to work and live with dignity once again.
