Ahmed is a displaced, married man and father of several children, currently living with his family in a basic tent that lacks even the most essential necessities of life. He previously worked as an evacuation driver, risking his life to transport and rescue the wounded. During one of these missions, he was hit by an airstrike that caused his vehicle to overturn, leaving him with severe shrapnel injuries to his leg. The damage to his tendons and nerves resulted in a permanent disability. Today, Ahmed works at a small vegetable stall in an attempt to support his family, but his limited income is not enough to cover their daily needs, let alone repay accumulated debts. The family continues to live in extremely harsh conditions, facing poverty and instability in a tent that offers no protection from either the summer heat or winter cold. They are in urgent need of support to secure their basic necessities and regain some stability and dignity in their lives.
