Hala is a little girl born on 24/11/2014 in Jisr Al-Shoghour, Idlib. On 13/4/2014, her father was detained while he was on his way to Lebanon, hoping to find a job there. The girl lives with her mother in their village. Hala is a sociable child who enjoys playing and laughing with other children. Hala and her mother have conflicting wishes. While they wish to see the father after all these years, they also hope he died so he no longer has to endure torture in detention by Assad forces!
