Khadija was born on 15/1/2014 in Azaz, Aleppo. She lives with five other people in one room, as well as other displaced families in the same house. On 14/6/2016, her father died in the bombing of their city that left many people injured and roofless. They fled to an old house with a yard surrounding a small fountain, where the scent of jasmine and basil is all over the place. Khadija loves handicrafts and she always makes beautiful things from plastic and paper. She wants to become a teacher and make her own art gallery.
