My name is Abdeldayem. I was born on 2/9/2012 in Homs. I lost my father in 2013 after he suffered a stroke and cerebral hemorrhage. I can't remember his features, but I feel his absence and how much we need him. My mother is my only refuge, but I feel worried about her because she needs an eye operation, or else she would lose her sight. Today I live with my mother and siblings in one room with one bed in the house of my stepmother in Turkey. We are not feeling well there, but I am doing my best in school.
