Aisha is a third-grade student at Malham School. She lost her father after he became ill with COVID-19, and suddenly found herself facing life without a provider. Today, she lives with her sister and a mother who patiently struggles to meet her daughters’ needs despite the harsh circumstances. Aisha loves learning, is attached to her school, and dreams of a better future that will ease her mother’s burden.
