Zaher and his family of 7 live in a house of two small rooms in very poor living conditions. The father Zaher, suffers from a spinal disc herniation due to carrying excessive weights of concrete and stone at work. He underwent an unsuccessful surgery, and now he suffers from constant numbness and cannot stand for more than ten minutes. Zaher's wife suffers as well from bone problems and severe pain in her back, shoulder, and neck, due to three previous gunshot wounds she had when she was in Syria.
