Maha and her family were forced to leave their city (Deir Ez-Zur) to Urfa in Turkey, escaping from the war. The family lost their city to one of the radical groups who murdered Maha's brother and took control over their belongings. Maha's oldest daughter is suffering from the cleft palate in the jaw and burns in the abdomen caused by an airstrike in the city. Unfortunately, Maha's husband is a person with a disability. He and the daughters are considered to be deaf-mute persons. Maha is trying her best to take care of her husband and their three kids, and she has no one to help her.
