Muntaha lost her husband and four of her children. She is the grandmother of seven orphans and also the mother of two children, one of whom suffers from respiratory illnesses. Her heart broke when her granddaughter expressed her desire to wear Eid clothes. Muntaha's family lives in a rented house whose owner wants to raise the rent and has threatened them with eviction if they won't pay. Muntaha is overwhelmed by life's burdens and is unable to meet even their most basic needs. She suffers from hypertension and has no one to rely on except for some help she may receive.
