Histoire
Hassan’s house caught fire because of a candle that he was carrying with a gas leak. Hassan sustained second and third degree burns on his hands and feet all the way to his thighs. When Hassan's father saw the fire, he did not step to save him; he suffers from a mental illness because of what he was exposed to during his arrest in Syria. When the fire broke out, he imagined that he was still under the fire of the bombing. His mother, too, suffers from severe depression because of what they lived in Homs. For these reasons, Hassan's childhood was not normal; he was forced from a young age to work selling tissue boxes to help his family who are facing harsh living conditions. Hassan now lives with his aunt who is taking care of him, and he needs treatment for burns and bandages. Your donation will treat Hassan’s wounds and pain.
