Lamia lives with her family in a small house with old furniture and they live in hard living conditions due to lack of resources. Lamia's husband suffers from a ventricular septal defect and due to that, he is unable to work. This forces Lamia to work in fruit picking to provide for some of her family's needs, but her job provides her with a low income which is not enough for all of her family's needs especially that she has a child who suffers from a rare disease and he needs regular medications.
