Her name means (goodness and Beauty). Maysam, a child living with her family in Syria, suffered since birth from gastrointestinal problems in her intestines. After a colostomy surgical operation, it turned out she suffers problems in the anus nerves, which is causing intestinal obstruction, and she needs a day to night syringe to help her dispose excreta and complementary medications and vitamins. Unfortunately, because of the poor financial conditions of her family, they are unable to afford the costs of her expensive treatment.
