Amer is a 9 year-old kid with poor eyesight because of macular degeneration (death of retinal eye cells). Also, he suffers from bleeding in his left eye, a 9 degree hyperopia in his left eye and a 4 degree hyperopia in the other one. Amer might need an ophthalmic surgery in his right eye but for now he should be on a long-term medication therapy. However, his family are so poor and they can not afford any of that.
