In a dilapidated and shabby house lives a family of nine after a long displacement journey escaping war and bombing. The family lives in poor conditions in times of inflation and scarcity. The father was suffering from shortness of breath and was later diagnosed with lung cancer; he is in a lot of physical and psychological pain that is affecting his brain and nervous system. Uday, the eldest son, is the sole breadwinner for the family. He opted out from school despite his strong desire to learn in order to earn a living for his brothers and parents. Uday also suffers from epileptic seizures but cannot leave work because his family depends on him. The monthly income of the family is almost not enough to pay rent and some basic necessities of food and drink. The situation is exacerbated by the high cost of treatment the father needs. The family relies on aids along with Uday's income. Nisreen sees her family afflicted by calamities and tribulations but is unable to provide them with any assistance. Please extend a helping hand.
