A six-year-old girl does not speak, or interact. The child's condition is causing frustration to her family as they cannot afford medical care to treat and follow up on the condition of their child Malak. Malak suffers from brain atrophy. She lives with her family in a house shared with another family. Her father suffers from a foot injury that prevents him from performing his work properly. However, the most severe suffering of the family, apart from displacement and its tragedy, is the suffering of their child. In the midst of their helplessness, they hope that they will secure the necessary medical follow-up and tests for their child to find out what exactly is her illness and what is the required treatment, so that she may live her childhood and bring joy back to her family.
