Ismat, a young man, lives in a small tent as if it is a matchbox. Ismat is responsible for his family even though he is still in the prime of his youth. His sick brother, Oqba, suffers from a motor disability. His niece who suffers from cancer, is sent by her grandmother to be treated in Syria because of the high costs of treatment in Lebanon. The family suffers after losing two breadwinners, the first of whom was Oqba's father who died shortly before his displacement from Homs. Secondly, the older brother passed away leaving Oqba with his grief and repression. Due to their poor financial situation, Oqba's mother cannot fulfill all his needs. Oqba's sadness reached its peak as he began to suffer from a severe depression. His suffering prevents his mother from expressing their bad situation.
