Mahmoud survived the continuous bombing of his city, Aleppo. In return, he lost his foot due to the lack of medical aid at the time, as the wounds in his foot worsened and it was amputated to preserve his life. Mahmoud lives his tragedy every day amid his inability to support his family and meet their minimum needs. Even with the help coming from his relatives, the family remains in a state of extreme need and poverty.
