Mohamed suffered displacement and bombing before escaping to Lebanon with his children in search of security and a better future. His original goal of seeking refuge was partially realised as the challenging circumstances robbed him of the necessities of life, leaving him beset by hardship on all sides. He lives with his children and wife in a house with a tin roof and crumbling walls, without even the most basic requirements. They endure helplessness and despair, yet they remain resigned to their fate. Mohamed works a simple job that barely covers the rent of this house and the cost of feeding his children.
