The two girls, Janan and Hanan, live with their large family in an old, poor house that lacks basic living conditions. Both girls suffer from epilepsy which affect their lives significantly and put it in danger. Their abrupt seizures and symptoms makes them in need of constant care, which their grandmother can't provide.
