Life became very difficult for Maram. She spent her teenage years in an orphanage in Turkey because her father is disabled and unable to support her. When she turned 18, she was forcibly deported and became homeless, if not for a Syrian family that took her in temporarily until she could find a place to live. Maram owns nothing, not even a place to stay. Maram is our sister, and we must provide her with what she needs so she can live with dignity.
