Abdulrahman lives in a single room with his wife, their three children, and his wife’s son, hosted by a kind family. Due to an amputation, he is unable to work. His wife earns a small income cleaning houses and caring for the elderly, barely enough to buy bread for the family. Abdulrahman also suffers from a liver disease, and early signs indicate cancerous cells, making their situation even harder.
