Five-year-old Omar is battling bone cancer. His ordeal began a year and a half ago when he was diagnosed with the disease in Syria. The doctors' only option was surgery to remove the affected part of the bone, marking the beginning of a grueling treatment journey. In 2023, Omar and his father moved to Turkey, where they now reside at the Molham Center for Cancer Patients in Adana. Meanwhile, the rest of their family remains in Syria without a breadwinner. The financial burden on Omar and his father is immense, with monthly medication costs reaching 6,000 Turkish lira and additional expenses for transportation between Adana and Hatay. Despite these hardships, the family holds onto hope and is determined to continue Omar's treatment.
