Histoire
Hassan’s joy at liberation was short-lived. After years of displacement, he finally returned to his freed city with his small family, only to find his home stripped of everything. Still, he held onto hope for a fresh start. But fate had other plans. Suffering from paralysis in one hand, Hassan traveled to Aleppo in search of treatment. On his way back, he was caught in an airstrike and sustained severe injuries—his kneecap was shattered, and his right leg was fractured, leaving him unable to walk or provide for his young children. Now, he and his family live in an unfinished house that offers no protection from the harsh winter cold. Even securing daily bread has become a struggle, and the surgeries and treatment he urgently needs are beyond his reach. From his hospital bed, Hassan fights with patience and resilience, but he needs urgent support to complete his treatment and regain his ability to stand again.
