Hassan is a young boy living with his family in one of northern Syria’s refugee camps. They were forced to flee their hometown during the conflict, and even after liberation, returning was impossible—their home had been completely destroyed. Despite the harsh conditions and financial hardships, they persevered, doing their best to survive. But tragedy struck when Hassan suffered a devastating accident. A severe head injury left him with a deep skull fracture, a sunken eye, and multiple jaw fractures. He spent a long time in a coma in intensive care, while his family did everything in their power to save him. They borrowed a significant amount of money to cover his surgeries, hoping to give him a chance at life. Today, Hassan has survived, but he is not the same. He cannot eat due to his jaw fractures, nor can he move or take care of himself without assistance. Now, after exhausting all options, little Hassan turns to you.
