Histoire
The scars of imprisonment and torture remain etched on Mustafa’s body, but today, his greatest suffering is not behind bars—it is his inability to move due to an injury that worsened under torture.
After surviving a car accident, Mustafa underwent multiple surgeries, only to later discover that he needed a total hip replacement. Though kind donors provided the implant, his ordeal did not end there. While being transported to Qamishli for treatment, he was handed over to the regime, turning him from a displaced person into a detainee. There, he endured brutal torture targeting his injury, causing his fracture to worsen and his condition to deteriorate further.
He spent three months in Saydnaya prison, where he saw nothing but suffering and death.
Today, Mustafa is free, but he remains a prisoner of illness. He urgently needs surgery to regain his mobility and return to supporting his family, who anxiously await his recovery. Let’s stand by him and help him overcome this crisis!
