Our newborn hadn’t even completed his first week of life when he came into this world, gasping for breath that wouldn’t come. A congenital nasal blockage left him unable to breathe, requiring immediate resuscitation and admission to the NICU, where his fight for life began. But that was only the beginning of his challenge. He was also born with a heart defect, kidney hydrops, underdeveloped brain folds, and a brain hemorrhage. His condition is extremely critical, and his parents live in constant fear and heartbreak over the thought of losing their precious child.
