Years ago, Mohammad suffered a heart attack that left a lasting impact on his life, greatly limiting his ability to work. After the liberation of Syria, he returned home filled with hope—only to find his house completely destroyed. Overwhelmed by the devastation, Mohammad collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. His illness has since weighed heavily on him and his family, forcing them to rely entirely on the kindness of others for survival. The disease has also severely affected his eyesight, and now he urgently needs retinal transplant surgeries in both eyes.
