Ruba, a mother displaced from her home and homeland, wandered through cold nights searching for shelter to embrace her children, and a hand to wipe away the winter's chill and the harshness of life. She worked for a meager salary to feed, shelter, and raise her children, becoming their protective father and their loving mother. Today, after years of alienation and deprivation, she returned with her children to the home she left heartbroken, fleeing death. She returned, but longing was not enough. The house of memories had become almost rubble, awaiting restoration. Ruba needs only help to restore her home and grant her children a place they deserve.
