Histoire
Mahmoud endured repeated arrests under the previous regime, until he was finally released from Sednaya Prison after the liberation. He was reunited with his wife and young child, only to face a life steeped in hardship. Their home is old and crumbling, lacking even the most basic furnishings. Mahmoud worked as a driver, but the torture he endured shattered his foot, and without proper treatment, he can no longer work—relying almost constantly on a cane to move.
With Mahmoud bearing the scars of imprisonment and injury, and his wife’s attempts to provide proving insufficient, the family has been left without a breadwinner, drowning under mounting debts from the grocer, pharmacy, and beyond. Your support can help cover some of their most urgent needs, ease their accumulated debts, and give Mahmoud a chance to regain his ability to work and care for his family. Let us be the hope and helping hand they so desperately need.
