Younes, a child not yet six years old, suffers from a near-complete deficiency of growth hormone, leaving him with the body of a two-year-old. After all attempts to stimulate his gland failed, doctors determined that the only solution is regular growth hormone injections to help him regain a normal growth trajectory. His family lives in Damascus under very difficult conditions, in a water-pumping unit lacking basic living necessities, and both parents work low-income jobs that cannot cover his essential, ongoing treatment. Younes is a lively child whose body is holding him back, and he now urgently needs support to receive his treatment and continue growing as his family hopes and his young heart dreams.
