Yahya suffers from multiple chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, along with recurrent heart attacks and serious vision problems caused by diabetes. He has already undergone several eye surgeries and requires regular medical follow-ups, but is unable to continue his treatment due to the high cost. The family lives in a modest, aging home and survives on a limited income provided by one of their sons. In the past, they were supported by their children, including a son who was among the founders of a field hospital in Jableh. However, after his role became known to the former regime, he was forced to flee to Lebanon for safety and has since gone missing.
