Maymona shares with her family the poor living conditions in a poor house. Her mother suffers from chronic diseases ( diabetes and hypertension) in addition to cardiac disorder and her father suffers from a herniated disk. Her brother was injured by a shot that caused back damage. Maymona suffers from spina bifida and has to undergo urgent surgery unless she is at risk of being paralyzed.
