Amer was born on 6/1/2015 in Aleppo. His father passed away in 2016 under torture in the Saydnaya detention center. Amer lives with his mother and siblings in a rented house in the city of Al-Bab. The little money his mother earns could barely meet their basic needs. Amer suffers from liver anemia, so he always needs healthy food.
