Shihab lost his father to a serious illness when he was only one year old. He was displaced with his mother to the city of Idlib, where they settled with his elderly aunt. Shihab is his mother’s only child and has lived through difficult circumstances since early childhood. He is enrolled in the third grade at our school to continue his education.
