“I have 10 orphans on my shoulders… I want to raise them and not deprive them of anything, but by God, life is hard, and my age no longer allows me to work and provide everything for them. My heart aches for them—they have never known a father’s tenderness nor true support.”

With these words, Aunt Shamous summed up the reality she lives in with her orphaned grandchildren and the burdens weighing on her—along with her illnesses and the difficulty of securing her grandchildren’s needs, which only deepens her pain and sense of helplessness.

But with your monthly sponsorship of $50 for her grandchildren, you can help ease her burden by providing their most basic needs and making them feel the true support they so desperately need.

Your donation—of any amount—can greatly help many orphans and provide for their needs.
