"I feel like the fire burned my heart along with them. They mean everything to me... How could their faces melt away so suddenly!" 

Omar’s father does not know how to move past the sight of the flames devouring his two precious loved ones: Omar and his little daughter. Nor can he forget how the burns marked their tiny bodies before leaving them in intensive care, groaning in pain and crying out in agony.

A father whom hardship could not break was broken instead by the moans of his two children, and now he moves from one hospital to another, clinging to the hope of their recovery.

In the midst of all this, he forgot himself, leaving no room for rest or sleep, until he was sleeping on hospital corridors and in the courtyards outside. He has also lost his daily source of income. 

Now Omar’s father stands helpless, not knowing how to support his two children through their treatment journey when he cannot even support himself.
