AbdulKarim, born in 1971, was displaced with his family from Hama after their living conditions worsened. He lives with his family in a very small rented house. He works as a freelancer and earns a minmium wage that barely covers their basic needs. AbdulKarim was diagnosed with bladder cancer which he underwent treatment for, but more tumors appeared and are spreading faster. He needs an urgent surgical operation to remove the masses.
