The family was displaced from Al-Qusayr in 2013 as a result of the siege and heavy bombardment by the Syrian regime. They sought refuge in the Lebanese Arsal camps and lived in a small tent that barely shelters them. The father, Mr. Ghazi, is unable to work and provide for his family because he has special needs, and the mother, Mrs. Wafaa, takes care of her husband and her child, who suffers seizures, and thus it is difficult for her to leave the child alone and find work.
