After their house has been destroyed due to a bombardment, Khadooj and her family have been displaced to Turkey. They have settled in a miserable house of two rooms. Besides that, the family members suffer from several diseases. Khadooj suffers from a mental illness, her husband suffers from a herniated disc, and two of their children are autistic.
